Many People living with a disability struggle with consistency, routine, and maintaining regular physical activity.

Without structure, it becomes easy to disengage, lose confidence, and fall into patterns that limit independence and overall wellbeing. Thrive was built to solve that — not by adding pressure, but by creating a simple, repeatable system that participants can actually follow and stick to.

Thrive is a 12-week structured program that uses boxing-based movement, bodyweight training, and coordination drills to build routine, improve physical capacity, and develop confidence. Each session is short, clear, and consistent, helping participants improve focus, follow-through, and daily engagement in a way that feels achievable.

The outcome is not just improved fitness — it’s increased independence, better structure in daily life, stronger participation in physical and social environments, and a system that supports long-term consistency beyond the program itself.

How it Works

Thrive is a 12-week structured program designed for participants with low to moderate support needs who are able to follow basic instructions and participate in group or guided sessions independently or with minimal support. The program is delivered through short, repeatable video sessions, simple tracking tools, and optional group-based training to build routine, consistency, and physical capacity.

Each session follows a consistent format to support task completion, coordination, and daily routine, helping participants improve independence and engagement in both structured and community settings.

Week 1: Establishing Routine & Engagement

 Is Thrive right for me?

If you or the participant are currently struggling with consistency, routine, or completing daily tasks without prompting, this program is designed to support that change. Thrive is built for people with low to moderate support needs who are able to follow simple instructions and benefit from structured, repeatable activities that build routine, coordination, and engagement over time.

At the start, participation may require prompting, low motivation, or inconsistent follow-through. Through the 12-week structure, the focus is on improving task completion, physical capacity, and independence, using short, manageable sessions that reduce overwhelm and build consistency. The goal is to move from relying on support to completing structured activities with greater confidence and reduced prompting.

This program is not suitable for participants requiring high levels of physical assistance, complex behavioural support, or clinical supervision. It is most effective for individuals working towards goals related to routine, independence, functional capacity, and community participation, and who are able to engage in a structured environment either independently or with minimal support.

Thrive is delivered by a coach with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in structured training environments. The program is built on a long-standing background in sport, discipline-based coaching, and developing routines that improve consistency, confidence, and engagement.

This approach has also been applied in supported settings, including experience delivering structured movement sessions for participants with higher support needs through organisations such as Maple Community Services. These sessions have focused on creating safe, structured environments that support participation, routine, and functional outcomes.

EDS has been designed to translate that experience into a clear, repeatable system that supports NDIS participants in building independence, improving physical capacity, and engaging consistently in structured activity.
